Today’s Music and Entertainment Industry is the Wild, Wild West!

I believe we are in the beginning of the best time in history to be pursuing music careers.

The burgeoning entrepreneurial nature of the industry combined with the global power of direct-to-fan communication has opened the floodgates of opportunity. Whether you’re a band, singer, songwriter, producer, manger, publisher, label, beat-maker, fan or engaged in any other aspect of the industry, today’s environment is more conducive for building a sustainable career than ever before…

… Provided you develop the multifaceted entrepreneurial skillset and resources that are essential for success.

I have literally spent my entire life working in music, theatre, film, television, and even the circus! (I did my first show when I was 3 months old in my family’s trampoline and juggling act). I have never been more excited about the state of the industry with respect to potential opportunity and powerful tools available for developing, as well as established, artists.

I am also excited to have the opportunity to share my ongoing experience, education, and growing industry network with current and future generations of creatives in my post as Architect and Program Director of the new Music and Entertainment Entrepreneurship Program at the Community College of Aurora in Aurora, CO.

I designed this cutting-edge program to answer the number one question asked by students, educators, administrators, and up-and-coming artists:

“Where do I start and how do I build a sustainable career in the music and entertainment industry?”
